POC Interactive provides contract programming and development services for mobile applications and for console video games. We can work in-house in the Greater Vancouver area, or remotely from the secure POC Interactive office in Mission, BC.

Marcel Barker can personally provide contract programming services, or through POC Interactive’s network of contacts provide full-service app or game development. He has developed for the PS1, Sega Saturn, GameCube, PS2, Xbox, Wii, Xbox 360, PS3, Nintendo DS, PSP, PC, OSX, iPhone, and Symbian platforms. For fifteen years he has worked on every aspect of a game, including tools and pipelines, gameplay, networking, FE, presentation, AI, scripting, and audio.


Wipeout: The Game was fully developed for the Nintendo DS by POC Interactive. Art assets and some design were brought over from the Wii version of the game and modified to suit the Nintendo DS platform.

Big Sandwich Games hired Marcel Barker as an in-house contractor for work on their PS3/PSP/PC/OSX title, Hoard. Marcel handled the majority of work porting the game to the PSP, as well as assisting with networking on PS3, taking ownership on OSX, and providing additional services where needed on the project.
